Motives Beauty – The Blue Trend

Forget all of the old-fashioned rules you’ve heard against wearing blue eye makeup. This season’s blue is bright, beautiful, and nowhere near outdated!

celebrity blue trendCelebrities such as Kate Hudson, Katie Holmes, Rihanna, and Beyonce are all great examples of ladies who know how to pull off the color. The key to this season’s sophisticated eye, is to wear it with a nude lip, and be sure to blend, blend, blend!

It’s also best practice to contrast your eye-color to your shadow/liner color–that way, your features won’t get lost in the mix. Blue-eyed beauties can pull this look off too; just be sure to select a shade of blue that’s different from your own.
