Even though we’re anxiously awaiting spring to get here, New York City is already buzzing about fashion for next fall and winter! Yesterday marked the first day of NYFW Fall/Winter 2011, yet the Richard Chai Love collection has me inspired for the rest of this season! I love the mixed neutrals of olive, cream, grey, brown and and purple:

As of right now, the largest size available by a high-end designer at Saks Fifth Avenue is a 10. Come fall, that is all about to change! Labels like Chanel, YSL, Dolce & Gabbana, Alexander McQueen and Fendi will be offering pieces up to a size 14 or possibly a 20.
The downside is that these items will only be available in New York – however, if all goes well you might see plus-size designer duds in Saks‘ all over the country in the future!

The iconic Madonna takes on a few housewifely chores in the new Fall/Winter ads for Dolce & Gabbana. It is a progression from the Spring/Summer advertisements, where in one photo she is washing dishes – decked out in leopard and lace, of course!
Stephano Gabbana claims “the campaign is comforting and that people will somehow identify themselves in the images, which again display a more human and approachable side of Madonna.” True or false?
