You won’t find any jewelry or over the top embellishments at Valentino Fall 2012 couture. Each piece was gloriously unadorned, with no decoration to distract from the beautiful clothes. A refreshing approach to couture, Valentino mixed simple silhouettes with erotic, peek-a-boo sheer fabric and high slits. I love the Valentino Fall 2012 couture color palette: moody pastels, metallics, navy and signature red. What do you think of this Valentino collection?

After nearly ten years, Donatella Versace put on quite the show for the Atelier Versace Fall 2012 couture collection during Paris Fashion Week. Always sexy, the Versace Fall 2012 couture collection saw cinched, constructed waists with free flowing skirts in stunning patterns and feminine colors. It’s great to see Versace haute couture on the runway again! Celebrities like Angelina Jolie and Jessica Alba are consistently spotted in Atelier Versace – which leading lady can you envision in one of these gowns?

My favorites from the Armani Fall 2012 Ready-to-Wear Collection at Milan Fashion Week. Giorgio Armani’s Fall 2012 Ready-to-Wear collection wrapped up Milan Fashion Week on Monday and I was mesmerized by how gorgeous the chic designs were. The collection featured some jawdropping contrasts of color and silhouettes along with an array of fabrics and details like sequins, rosettes, and fur. Fedoras and menswear-inspired pieces gave the collection a touch of masculinity and formality. I love the mixing and matching!
But the real story here is color—and lots of it. Sophisticated blacks are paired with colorblocked bold pinks, oranges, and reds. This is a collection for the lady who is not afraid to play, and when she does, she plays for keeps.

Giorgio Armani Fall 2012
Fashion’s Night Out kicks off tomorrow and to get things started last night celebrities and fashionistas from all over came to watch the largest public runway show in NYC! Gisele Bundchen led the pack and each model was sporting a 2010 Fashion’s Night Out shirt:
