Hi everyone…just wanted to send a little “hello” to all my friends…I have been in NYC all summer and we had the best time. It was so nice to be there with all of our friends and just together as a family. We worked a lot, in fact we worked a whole lot…but it was all worth it. NYC is such a fascinating place with all types of wonderful people. It is amazing to me how much you get done there in a day…the business that takes place, the meetings and the connections! I love every second of it. Of course when there, we get to spend time with our old friends and always make a bunch of new ones. Kamal Hotchandani, from Haute Living magazine was there with us most of the summer and we had so much fun, I adore him…but we worked hard :) Work hard, play hard!!!
Then of course, I always try to see Jennifer and Marc and the twins as much as I can. They are growing so fast, it is so hard to believe. They are just beautiful. Emme is just so sweet and Max is such a boy, just stunning and sweet…well, the fruit doesn’t fall from the tree.
Amber found a wonderful boyfriend and we just adore him. He is a wonderful singer and actor and student. (super cute also :) )She loves it in NYC so she is staying for a bit and taking acting and studying some more at the colleges. It is a real eye opener to see your kids grow up! A bit hard for me to handle (I cried the whole way to NC on the plane when I left her the other day) But I know that she needs to fly, she is a butterfly and I can’t clip her wings…so I will just have to miss her terribly and call her a 100 times a day and see her every other weekend..I hope!!!
We came to NC this week and got so much work done and it was great being with everyone. Tomorrow we head home to Miami Beach! I haven’t been there in 6 months.. Wow, hard to believe! But it will be nice to be at my home again and go see my Motley Crue. Alejandro Sanz and Raquel and Antonio and Shakira and Paulina Rubio and Colate and Stacy and Michelle and ….well all my wonderful friends. I know Alejandro Sanz and Raquel are anxious and we are so excited to see them. It’s weird when we are all separated, even though we visited each other a lot this summer.
So going back to Miami Beach with all the beautiful sun, palm trees and 80 degree weather, and all my fabulous friends….well it can’t be that bad…except well, Amber…
I will send you another note when I get home, but until then…keep smiling and keep shopping.
