The first collaboration between the Parisian stalwart Lanvin and Swedish denim darling Acne was coveted by fashion devotees the world over. But for as much hype as it got, the line never really spread beyond that crowd. But I have a feeling  their second endeavor—which just launched online—will be a much bigger hit. It takes denim in a direction I’ve never seen before.

Last week, if you’d asked me my thoughts on making a cocktail dress from denim, I probably would have laughed. But that’s exactly what Lanvin and Acne created, and it is, I admit without hesitation, fantastic. Check out the entire collection—which includes far more than cocktail dresses—here.
