These are my chic ankle strap sandals for spring! To get spring ready sandals are always my number one thing to shop for (well, shoes in general). I just wrote about my favorite flip flops for the beach but ankle strap sandals are definitely an important warm weather staple. Ankle strap sandals immediately take the shoe from casual to classy. My classic black Chanel sandals don’t have the t-strap which I love – so unique and you can’t go wrong with black and white. Flip Flops for the Beach

JR and I took friends to our home in the Bahamas for the night – I love working from there! Cat Cay is a beautiful, secluded place and it’s the perfect spot for when we need a breather and want to recharge our batteries. I don’t spend a lot of time packing a beach ready wardrobe since it’s not a vacation, just our family hideaway :) Comfy clothes, sunscreen and flip flops for the beach are all I need!

I adore summer flip flops by Havaianas, especially because it’s warm enough for me to wear them year round in Miami. Havaianas last forever and I recently picked up two new pairs of flip flops for the beach trip the other day. Purple and gold!

So feminine, so fun! If you don’t want to spend money on Havaianas (they usually retail for under $30 on zappos.com), Old Navy makes a similar pair in every color under the sun. Rag and Bone Blazer for Haute 100 Miami

Fabulous night yesterday! After we found out about The Miami Haute 100 list, JR and I went out to celebrate the best of Haute Living and Haute 100 Miami with Kamal Hotchandani. Kamal is the CEO of Haute Media group and has been a dear friend of our family for many years. It was his birthday yesterday so here’s a big toast to our birthday boy!! Kamal I love you!
