I’m so glad everyone liked Monday’s House of Herbert look! Aileen‘s directions are super easy to understand and will really help if you want to copycat these model makeovers. Next up, round 2 of instructions from Aileen using Motives Cosmetics! “Bronze Beach Goddess” for the Inca Swimwear show at Miami Fashion Week Swim:
1. Begin by applying Perfecting Face Primer and then foundation
2. Prep the face using concealer to touch up any imperfections
3. If possible, it is best to blend in concealer with foundation in a setting with natural light
4. Use Full Coverage Photo Finish Powder in Mocha to contour under the cheekbones, over the forehead and around chin (make it look sun kisses)
5. Apply Pressed Bronzer in Miami Glow to bridge of nose, high cheek bone and temples to highlight
6. Use Essential Brow Kit to fill in and lightly darken the eyebrows – finish with the wax
7. Prep the eye with Eye Base
8. Use Lux Creme Eye Shadow in Brown Sugar all over the eyelids
9. Add Pressed Eye Shadow in Hazelnut at the center of the lid
10. While blending, use Pressed Eye Shadow in Sweet Chocolate at the edge of the lid and contour it as a V shape
11. Apply Pressed Eye Shadow in Vintage Glam at the inside corner, blend softly together with Hazelnut
12. Make a thin line around the base and inside of each eye with Kohl Eyeliner in Suede, blend in to soften
14. Finish eyes with Lustrafy High Definition Mascara in Onyx
13. Complete the look with Lip Crayon in Neutral and Rich Formula Lipstick in Peach Puff (blot)

As I mentioned a few weeks ago, Motives was out and about at Miami Fashion Week Swim for brands like Inca, Roberto Cavalli and Paula Herbert. I sat down with the lovely and talented Aileen Quintana to go over how she put together the fantastic “Asian Fox” look using Motives Cosmetics for the House of Herbert show – read on for her step-by-step instructions!
1. Begin by applying Perfecting Face Primer and then foundation
2. Prep the face using concealer to touch up any imperfections
3. If possible, it is best to blend in concealer with foundation in a setting with natural light
4. Use Full Coverage Photo Finish Powder in Mocha to contour under the cheekbones, over the forehead and around chin (make it look sun kisses)
5. Prep the eye with Eye Base
6. Use Essential Brow Kit to darken the eyebrows – finish with the wax
6. At center of the eyelid use Pressed Eyeshadow in Gun Metal
7. Start to blend in Pressed Eyeshadow in Onyx from the center of the lid and slowly blend it outward to the outside to make the eye look elongated
8. Highlight under the brow with Pressed Eye Shadow in Pearl
9. Use Kohl Eyeliner in Onyx to line the base, the top and the bottom (including the inside) – finish with more blending and fading out the harsh line
10. Finish eyes with Lustrafy High Definition Mascara in Onyx
11. For lips, use Lip Crayon in Passion and Rich Formula Lipstick in Flesh (blot)
