Did you tweet with me during last night’s Grammy Awards red carpet? Regardless of the memo CBS sent out to attendees, there were still quite a few super-sexy, almost-not-safe-for-tv moments. But one area where they didn’t take a risk? With color!

Nearly every celeb showed up in black or white, or in Queen Bey‘s instance, a black and white PANTSUIT (this woman can do no wrong). But those who did step outside the box for this year’s Grammy’s definitely made a statement, like Florence Welch in a custom green Givenchy dress with spikes (!) or Rihanna‘s custom sheer red Azzedine Alaia gown.

I can’t decide between my girl Jennifer Lopez or Rihanna for best dressed – they both looked incredible and each of them is captivating in their own way.

Whatever your thoughts on Queen Bey’s Super Bowl XLVII halftime performance, you have to admit that the costume was fierce! Along with her stylist Ty Hunter (whom I absolutely adore and have worked with before), the two sat down with designer Rubin Singer to create an all-black leather and lace combination that was strong and sexy.

The superstar’s look, which according to InStyle.com was “inspired by the Valkyries in Norse mythology. The mythical creatures were strong female figures who decided which soldiers lived and died in battle.”

Singer also released a statement about his original sketch – shown below! –  “a woman with power, focus, and unbridled sexuality; not unlike Ms. Knowles herself, was the starting point.”
