Breaking tradition, Stella McCartney chose a garden party in NYC over the runway to showcase her 2012 resort collection. I love how her clothes still manage to show off a woman’s figure and look feminine despite their relaxed fit. Oh, and the accessories? Gorgeous!

Classic silhouettes done in luxurious fabrics. Flattering nudes. Candy color accents. The Bottega Veneta 2012 Resort collection is my favorite by far! There is nothing I don’t absolutely love about these looks and they are perfect for the modern woman. What do you think?

Oscar de la Renta paid homage to Spain with flamenco dresses, pale stripes and interesting hats in his 2012 resort collection. The Picasso-inspired prints looked fresh paired with subtle, Spanish elements and the gowns were stunning, as they always are from the designer.

Rachel Bilson donned these Chanel leather shorts to the Chanel 2012 resort show earlier this week and I must say… they look great on her! The shorts are feminine and tasteful without seeming inappropriate or tacky.
Want to steal her look? Here’s how to get it for less:
- Kohl’s, Arrow blazer $47.60
- Lord & Taylor crochet tank $74.25
- Express (minus the) leather shorts $49.90
- Nine West Proudly pump $89
So what do you think of leather shorts? Leave a comment or tweet me:) Xoxo

Chanel’s 2012 resort collection debuted at the Hotel du Cap on the French Riviera yesterday – I love the classic black and white interpreted through sheer skirts, well placed graphics and of course, the trademark pearls. All photos courtesy of instyle.com:
Not sure how I feel about the sandals though… thoughts?
