Looks from the Mui Mui runway immediately had me thinking of The Notebook. Even though Rachel McAdam’s character Allie is pictured in a dress from her summer in Seabrook, Mui Mui’s retro rendition for the fall season has the same classic shape and printing.

Here’s a new print gaining popularity – retro geometrics are popping up with contrasting colors in a repetitive pattern for this fall. The runway at Loewe, Jonathan Saunders and Marni showed off mosaic pieces inspired by stained glass windows and classic cathedral ceilings.
