Want to know the 3 spring trends I’m loving right now? Out with the cold and in with the new—spring looks are surfacing and there are some standouts I want to share with you.

Pastels—Yes you can wear pastels without looking like the Easter bunny. The trick is get pieces that are colorful but muted. Luv the pastel color story at Shopbop.

I love this elegant sleeve jacket from one of my fave designers Philip Lim

How to Mix Florals and Stripes (the right way)

April 13th // 1 Comment

Mixing disparate patterns into a coherent outfit can be a tricky proposition. But one new trend makes it significantly easier to get creative: Simply layer a striped tank under a slightly sheer, floral-print blouse, so the stripes peek through a bit. Paired with jeans and a sharp jacket, it’s amazing – and one of my favorite looks of the moment.

What’s YOUR mix and match formula for prints?

My Best and Worst Picks from the Kid’s Choice Awards

March 29th // 1 Comment

Here are my fashion picks from the red… I mean, orange! carpet from this weekend’s Kid’s Choice Awards:

Best Dressed

Nikki Reed Kids Choice AwardsSelena Gomez Kids Choice Awards

Nikki Reed and Selena Gomez looked fresh and young in this spring’s trends – they were all about the flowing fabrics, florals and and pretty colors. And on a beauty note, I am in love with Selena’s side braid! That hairstyle was all over the runways.

Worst Dressed

Katy Perry Kids Choice AwardsTyra Banks Kids Choice Awards

This is not the first time Katy Perry has made my Worst Dressed list. I feel as though the bottom half of her dress (can I even call that a dress?) had a very awkward cut. Also, I am not really a fan of the length of her bangs! They are too short. As for Tyra Banks, it looks like she stopped at the Kid’s Choice Awards on the way to a meeting! She looked all business, not fun enough for this type of event… and the color combo is awful.

Thoughts??

xo,

Loren
