Super-cozy and the definition of chic, a cape has a soft sexiness and transitions beautifully between seasons. I love to throw one on on those days when it’s still cold enough to wear a coat, but not so cold that I need to stay completely under wraps. Black is infinitely practical, but this rich green cape on Leighton Meester (caught shooting a scene for Gossip Girls in New York) can counteract the dullest, end-of-winter days. Do you love it, too?

Even though it feels like spring down here in Miami, I know for some of you winter is still alive and well. Even so, I am jealous of those of you who get to wear super cute coats like these! So Ali McGraw in Love Story, right? It’s such a timeless shape for both men and women. In fact, I still wear a ten-year-old Marc Jacobs navy peacoat all the time, but am always looking for more.
