I freaked out when I saw this picture of Renee Zellwegger at the Berlin film festival – it’s the same fitted sheath that we’re used to seeing on her, but the sleeves channel a Renaissance princess and somehow take the whole effect to an edgier new place. The trick to pulling off a bubble sleeve is to keep the rest of your outfit quite simple: by virtue of their shape, the sleeves have a lot going on.

Not many people would turn to a kitschy 80’s comedy for style inspiration, but if you ask me, Ty Webb (Chevy Chase) and Al Czervik (Rodney Dangerfield) from Caddyshack are truly worth your admiration. Their quirky color combinations turned a wardrobe of uber-preppy staples into a fun fashion statement. They’re all dressed in black one-pieces worthy of Betty Grable, and look stylish and alluring without a hint of sleaze. Somehow, even with the extra coverage, every guy in a 100-foot radius is still staring at these women as if they were a new creation.
And today, leafing through British GQ, I learn that even bombshell Megan Fox is on the program.
Am I alone in loving this look?
