The uber-talented Janine Hoen of The Amazing World of J is back with another makeup look that’s perfect for those of you with blue eyes. This time, she went ahead and used one of the newest Motives® Pressed Eyeshadow shades: Rebel. I love this burnt orange color because it’s so on trend at the moment. It seems like everyone’s going for the red eyeshadow look. This shade can make any eye look stand out but looks especially good on blue eyes. You can see what this shade does to Janine’s gorgeous blue eyes below. Love it!

If you love this look as much as I do, then you’re in luck because Janine shared some of her tips on how to create this look at home. She used all Motives® products so you Motives® Mavens will be able to recreate this look at home without a problem. Read on to learn more.

Rebel:

– Start off with Motives® Eye Base to keep the look in place and brighten the colors.

-Go in with a warm shades from the Motives® Mavens Demure Palette. Use a fluffy brush to apply this shade to the crease of the eyelid. This is a great transition color.

-Next use a flat brush to apply the Motives® Pressed Eyeshadow in Rebel onto the lid. Once it’s applied to the lid, go ahead and use your fluffy brush to blend it into the crease color. Gorgeous!

-Finally, you want to use the Motives® Gel Eyeliner in LBD to line the eye and waterline for a smokey look.
